Membrane Bio Reactor  MBR Membrane Waste Water Treatment with 0.05 pore size PVDF

 

Membrane Bio Reactor (MBR) is a new technology that has been more and more widely adopted in municipal and industrial waste water treatment. With the advantage of combining a suspended-growth biological reactor with solids removal via membrane filtration, it overcomes many of the limitations of conventional systems. The activated sludge and macro molecular organic matters are intercepted in the biological reaction tank and elimination of secondary clarifiers is allowed. As a result, the concentration of activated sludge is greatly increased, the Hydraulic Retention Time (HRT) and Sludge Retention Time (SRT) can be controlled separately, while the refractory solids are continuously degraded in the reactor. Therefore, MBR technology greatly enhances the effect of conventional bio reactor through membrane separation technology. Compared with traditional biological treatment methods, it has the advantages of high biochemical efficiency, strong resistance to load impact, stable effluent quality, small footprint, long sludge discharge period and easy to realize automatic control, etc. It is one of the most promising new waste water treatment technologies at present.
