  • Avoid sudden pressure changes during system start-up, shutdown, operation, and maintenance
  • Never exceed the maximum specified pressure limits to prevent membrane damage
  • Initial operation should be at 50% of design water production rate
  • Initial water production must be discharged and not used as product water
